Hope is our English star for a second time, I have been particularly impressed with her hard work and commitment when trying to improve her handwriting.

Tumas also claimed his second maths star of the week award. He has shown great attitude and effort to his work. Well done!

This week in English we continued working on ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’. We have worked on expanded noun phrases, descriptive paragraphs and setting descriptions. Take a look below at some wonderful examples of our work.

In the middle of the grass, a murderous , scaly snake with poisonous, yellow fangs , quickly slithered towards Arthur.

In topic, we began to learn about the food that was eaten in Viking times. We then worked in groups to read and follow a recipe to make Viking bread. Some of us thought it was delicious, others were not so keen.
