We have had a very busy and exciting week!

In English, we have been learning about adjectives and their place in noun phrases. We have been using expanded noun phrases to describe different settings in the Tiddler story.

In Maths, we have continued to work on our Place Value unit. We have been learning about tens and ones to partition numbers. We have been using place value charts to help us partition two digit numbers.

We had a fantastic time on Wednesday at The Deep. The children learned about different habitats in and around the ocean and which different creatures live there. They loved exploring the attraction and saw lots of different sea creatures including jellyfish, stingrays, sharks and many other different species of fish. Great fun was had by all!

On Friday, the Library Bus visited and our class was lucky enough to have the first turn in Key Stage One. The children chose different books to share with the other two classes, for the term.

This week’s Explorer of the Week is Harvey. He has been trying really hard in coming into the classroom, early in the morning. Well done Harvey!
