19th November 2018

We have had another busy week! The week started with Odd Socks Day, to celebrate and respect our differences for Anti-Bullying Week. Check out our photo of us in our odd socks!

In Maths we have been learning to use counting on to add and find missing numbers. We’ve been putting the largest number in our head and counting on with our fingers, numberlines or manipulatives. Some of us have even been using our number bonds to 10 to add too!

In English we have been writing expanded and noun phrases and detailed sentences to help us write Bonfire poems. We have also been exploring powerful verbs to show how fireworks move and the sounds and used these to write interesting poems too!

Our week ended with raising money for Children in Need, with the children wearing spots and non-uniform. Thank you to all for their donations!

Our Explorer of the Week is Sivanjali as she always shows fantastic behaviour for learning and tries her best! Well done Sivanjali!
