8th May 2017

In this week’s maths, we have been solving problems involving 2D and 3D shape and graphs or charts. We have been using a set of steps to help them tackle the problems with much success!
In topic, we have been using our maths sorting skills, to compare plants and flowers. We used Venn and Carroll diagrams to help us sort them. We created our own criteria for sorting.

In English this week, we have been describing flowers using a range of descriptive language, such as interesting adjectives or similes. In spelling, we have been exploring the ‘wr’ pattern.
This week’s Explorer of the Week is Ben, for really working extra hard this week.
We earned 2 handshakes this week.
