In Maths this week, we have continued to explore our Geometry topic. This has included building our own 3D shapes out of sticks and mini marshmallows. We then used the shape models to help describe the properties including edges, faces and vertices. 

In English, we have begun a poetry topic called, ‘Really Looking’. We have been reading, exploring and performing poems about plants and flowers and then describing, using powerful language, flowers or plants. In spelling we have been exploring the ‘wr’ spelling pattern, as in: wreck, wrap and wrong.
In Reading, we have enjoyed looking at the Disney Pixar film, La Luna. This has been helping us further develop our inference skills. We also had a fantastic discussion about what we thought the message was! Superb use of evidence and clues to back up your ideas 2TP!
