P.E: Over the past few weeks in P.E we have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in gymnastics sessions.  We  looked at fundamental skills, which include the basic rolls. We perfected the teddy bear roll, log roll, pencil roll, barrel roll, forwards roll and backwards roll.  This week we put all of these skills together and created a sequence where we travelled across the floor in various ways.

Anti– bullying: This week was anti-bullying week, to mark this important occasion we learnt about the different types of bullying and how this may make people feel.  Having gathered lots of excellent ideas, we then created our own posters.

Maths: We have introduced multiplication and division and looked at ways we can calculate sums mentally.  When multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000 we have been using a PV grid , this really helped. Look below to remind yourselves.

Our star of the week was Saffron Hewitt, she really impressed me in maths due to her perseverance and willing to try out new methods.

This week we received 10 handshakes.
Our attendance was 96.2%
