All school meals are cooked on the premises by our experienced kitchen staff and where possible the produce is sourced from local farmers. Eating produce that has been reared or grown locally is one of the best ways to reduce our carbon footprint and cuts down on our food miles.
Each day the children have a choice of two meals and a dessert plus wholemeal bread, crunchy vegetables, fruit salad and yogurts. Some of the more seasonal vegetables are even grown by Carr Hill’s very own Gardening Club!
The current price for a school meal is only £2.00 per day (£10.00 per week) but are FREE for Key Stage one children. Dinner money should be sent either on the Monday for the full week or on the day your child wishes to have a meal. The money should be sent in an envelope with your child’s name and class written on the front. School meals run on a 3 week cycle, the menu below runs from Autumn 2015, click on any week for a detailed view.
