1st May 2017

This week we have enjoyed listening to and learning the poem, ‘A Day in the Life of Danny the Cat’ by Benjamin Zephaniah. We used the poem structure to write a new poem about a rain forest animal of our choice.

In Mathematics this week we have continued our work on fractions. We used diagrams to find equivalent fractions and, later in the week, we used our times table facts to create our own equivalent fractions.

In topic, we looked at Ancient Maya and we also designed and and made our own Maya headresses. look out for photos next week!

This week we had 98.9% attendance which meant we earned another certificate. Well done everyone! Our handshake score was 14 which earned us second place. A great score!
