6th March 2017

Our attendance this week was 96.6% which meant that we were unable to claim a voucher again this week.

To mark World Book Day, we all dressed up as characters from books that we have enjoyed. A BIG THANK YOU to all those who put time and effort into our costume preparation. To begin the day, we shared our Guided Reading activities with parents who came to visit. We also did round one of our book present swap, books that we had wrapped up and brought in from home. Many of said that we came across books that we might enjoy, but perhaps would not have chosen ourselves! For the remainder of the day, we rotated our classes so that we could explore the strangely wonderful books written by Shaun Tan. Right at the end of the day, all of the teachers changed classes to read a story and Mr Haslam came to visit.

This week, our handshakes total was 5.
