Our attendance this week was 97.9%. This meant that we missed an attendance voucher by 0.1%!
English: We had already collected our unknown words from the Red Eye text and had made predictions about their meanings by looking at the word context. We had tried to substitute alternative words while keeping the meaning true. In the pictures, we are using our dictionary skills to find the word definitions so that we can assess how accurate our predictions were.
ICT: Using a split screen, we are collaborating to select information about Scratch software. Acting as a peer mentor to guide and coach learning is really important. We could explain our thinking, but we could not do the task for our partners!
This week we collected 3 handshakes, but this was not enough to win the Class of the Week Trophy.
