We were really happy to finally be celebrating World Book Day! It was fantastic to see everyone dressed up and to  welcome parents into our class, although, I think the biscuits were the main attraction! Today is also the launch of the 100 Million Minutes Reading challenge.  We have  already logged in lots of time reading today. Remember to log your reading minutes at home—all reading counts!

In English  this week we have completed our hot write and have written our own myths. We have also completed our cold write, which was all about the Jabberwock. We planned lots of ideas together to help us to write.

In maths this week we have been continuing our work on percentages. We have also worked really hard on the SATs papers that we have taken this week. We found some of the questions really tricky, but showed lots of resilience by continuing to try our best.

In topic we have found out about the battle of Troy and have learnt all about the Trojan  horse. We created freeze frames for  the different events in the story.
