In English this week, we have been learning about facts and opinions. We have tried to find out the differences between facts and opinions, and we have done that through a discussion text about if children should eat chocolate for breakfast. What do you think? Also, we have been doing topic sentences and matching informal words to their formal synonyms.
In maths this week, we have been learning how to solve problems involving calculating percentages. We have also been using our knowledge of percentages to work out missing values. We had to go through a lot of steps to understand the method and achieve a green spot. We cannot wait to learn more methods and learn more about percentages.
World book day
Yesterday we came to school in our pyjamas. You are probably curious about why and there's a clue in the title. It was world book day and we had a bed time story session at the end of the day, when some of our parents got the opportunity to come and read with us too.
