20th March 2017

In English this week we have been focusing on our reading comprehension skills. The children have been using their inference skills to work out the answers to a range of questions.

In Maths we have been continuing our work on fractions and created our own fraction museums which the children really enjoyed! They also thoroughly enjoyed the fraction orienteering activity where they worked together in pairs to calculate different fractions which were spread around the classroom and corridor.

In PE the children were very lucky to have a special one off Volleyball lesson! They all really enjoyed the lesson and they were lucky enough to be coached by someone who trains the British team!

In RE the children have been learning about different places of worship in preparation for our trip next week.

Our ‘Champion of the Week’ is Alice because she has been trying hard on improving her handwriting. Well done Alice!

We received eleven handshakes.
