Trinity came to show me her super Maths work, where she had been using her times tables to help her to solve word problems. She has been practising her quick recall of times tables. I was very impressed with her work.

Jaiden came to read me his wonderful writing about polar bears. He used his knowledge of these amazing creatures and their abilities to answer unusual questions, such as ‘Can a polar bear go to the beach’. Mrs Beardsall was very impressed with the presentation of his writing also and how much progress he has made this year. Well done Jaiden

Jack came to show me is wonderful description of Pompei, using features of figurative language. It is very impressive. Watch the film to see him reading his work. Well  done Jack!

Erin came to show me her Maths work, where she used a formal method to multiply two digit numbers. She used her knowledge of place value to help her and was able to spot where she had miscalculated and correct herself. Well done.

Agnes came to tell me how well she has been doing in learning her spellings. She has worked really hard in learning Common Exception Words and is now using these in her writing also. This hard work is really paying off now; well done Agnes.
