Callume came to show me how he has been doing with his Maths. He had been subtracting three digit numbers by regrouping and Miss Brownfoot had been really impressed with the way he worked. Fab work Callume.

Kristian came to show me how he has been doing with his ‘Word Wasp’ work. Mrs Higginbottom was really pleased with how he has been applying his spelling and reading strategies and making excellent progress!

Mia came to show me how she has been doing with her writing. The difference between her ‘cold write’ and her ‘hot write’ with her ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ story was phenomenal! She wrote in more detail, using exciting vocabulary and descriptive phrases. I was very impressed!

Mia was pleased that she remembered to use conjunctions to join some of her ideas. She had also used speech marks correctly.

Jack chose this extract as it was a really exciting part of his story.

Owen chose this extract as his favourite part as he had made some excellent word choices.

Before half term, Kyle came to show me how he has been doing with his writing. He had been re-writing his ‘Red Eye’ story, adding lots of detail and imaginative vocabulary. I was very impressed!
