We hope you all enjoyed the half term holiday and we know lots of the children were looking forward to their first ever school trip. Although the weather didn't look too promising we headed down to Kings Park and the Chesterfield Canal. We enjoyed a journey along the canal and through the locks and learnt lots of facts about the Seth Ellis boat and the canal itself. In the park we used our new metal detectors to hunt for treasure and also had a go at a 'blindfold' trail. The children were amazing, as were our helpers. Thank you!
