This week's Pirate Adventures were inspired by Charlie who drew a super picture of a pirate looking through a telescope and he had spotted a baddy! The children arrived to find a note from Captain Blackbeard and he had stolen the Queen's jewels and all our gold. This led to painted portraits of Blackbeard and Wanted posters being created. Outside the children enthusiastically walked the plank and painted their pirate ship.
Thursday's Superhero themed lunchtime was a great success with record numbers electing to have a school dinner.

Alesha, Jenson, Lily and Laila were our reading lottery winners for the spring term and we hope they enjoy their new books. (Please remember to sign your child's reading record each time they read. 3 reads a weeks earns them a raffle ticket for the reading lottery.)
Well done to our Superstars this week, for working hard in phonics to remember their tricky words and also write them.
Happy 5th Birthday to Alan, we hope you had a lovely day.
