As part of our focus on the story of The Little Red Hen, this week in Foundation we have looking at how bread is made. We started with grains of wheat and when we looked at it with a microscope we found that the flour is hidden inside. We then used all of our senses to decide whether all bread was the same and this was followed by making some of our own delicious bread.

Despite the chilly, damp weather the children have enjoyed being outside as much as possible, particularly our new den area in the courtyard. 

Finally, well done to those children who achieved their handwriting certificates this week.
