7th November 2016

This week the Foundation children have been very excited about Halloween and Bonfire night. We made pumpkin soup together and although it wasn't to everyone's taste everyone did at least try some!

A giant cardboard box, saved for us by Mr Carter, sparked our imagination. Some children decided it was a house whilst others thought it was a rocket.

In PE we gained confidence travelling over benches and mats in different ways.

Merit assembly saw more handwriting certificates for Ethan, Sophie and Henry and Olivia and Kai were the first winners of our reading lottery. Remember we aim for at least three reads of their school book each week. This will earn them a sticker and also a ticket for the reading lottery.

Finally a big happy birthday to Harry and Charlie who had their birthday on Friday.
