We have made a poppy for ‘Remembrance Day’ out of old cd’s which have been sprayed red. ‘The Green Champion Representatives’ came back from a meeting and explained to the class how to make the poppy. Each child then fastened an old cd onto wire using a cable tie.
Every class has created a poppy and one will be placed on the memorial in the middle of town on ‘Remembrance Day’, and the others will be displayed around school.
‘The Reading Lottery’ happens every half-term. Every time a child reads their name goes into a ‘lottery’ and a name is drawn out randomly. The more a child reads, the higher the chance of them winning. From our class this half-term Isabelle has won. Well done Isabelle and keep up with the reading!
Children have started bringing in their ‘Giant Projects’ which they have designed and created at home. Don’t panic as the deadline isn’t until Friday 23rd November. We are really excited about seeing the wonderful ideas the children have come up with.
Our ‘Champion of the Week’ is Isabelle, who shows a positive mind-set, enthusiasm and always tries her best every lesson. Well done Isabelle!
