2nd July 2017

In English we have been thinking about what we think about zoos and whether they are a good idea or not.  We sorted statements and facts about opinions of zoos under headings and discussed them as a class.  We will be writing a discussion text on this over the next couple of weeks.  For our cold write we wrote about the pros and cons of fidget spinners.  We really enjoyed doing this and thought of many positive and negative reasons for playing with them.

In Maths we enjoyed going outside and measuring how far we can jump.  Noah jumped 1.85m! We then converted the distance we jumped into centimetres and metres.

Taome is our ‘Champion of the Week’ for her consistent positive attitude and effort in lessons. Well done Taome!

There is no swimming next week, Thursday 6th July, due to transition day where the children will find out about their new classes.

This week we have earnt 8 handshakes.
