20th November 2017

In English the children have been continuing their work on narrative writing. We have been looking at an example to discuss and then the children used drama to convey the character and atmosphere of the story.

In Maths the children have been finishing off their work on number and calculations. Next week, we will be moving onto fractions.

In Topic the children have begun to write a diary entry from Charles Darwin’s point of view about his voyage to the Galapagos Islands.

This week has also been anti-bullying week. Throughout the week, we have been talking about the impact bullying has on others and the children produced some fabulous posters.

On Friday the children dressed up in something spotty for Children in Need. The pictures of their fantastic outfits can be seen here.

Our ‘Star of the Week’ is Aidan because he has been working incredibly hard on his spelling. Well done Aidan!

We received eight handshakes.
