23rd October 2017

In English we have continued our work on free verse poetry and the children wrote their new poems using the skills which they have learnt over the last few weeks.

In Maths the children have continued to practise the column multiplication method.

On Tuesday the children took part in the Harvest Assembly. I was so proud of all of the children and they gave a fabulous performance. Well done everyone!

On Thursday we had our ‘Urban Pioneers Gallery’ and it was lovely to see so many adults come to see what the children have been up to this half term.

In ICT the children have been having a go on Purple Mash which is an online educational website that has a range of activities and games linked to the curriculum in maths, English and topic. I have encouraged the children to have a go at this at home and I have set them some tasks which they can have a go at. The link can be found here:

Our ‘Star of the Week’ is Jaime because of his fantastic Scratch project which he did for his homework. He then demonstrated this during our Urban Pioneers Gallery. Well done Jaime!
