18th December 2017

This week has been another busy Christmassy week!
We had a fantastic afternoon at our Christmas Crafty Fair on Tuesday.
We worked hard at our Enterprose challenge and have made a good profit for our class.
We now need to decide what we want to spend our profit on.
Let’s get thinking!

We loved making our Christmas Shop and serving all the customers.
Thank you to all our customers who bought lots of Christmas Tree Decorations. We hope they are looking lovely on your trees at home!

We also had a great time this week at our Christmas Party!
We made fantastic party hats to match the group we were in and sat in those groups to eat our party food.
We played some dancing games in the hall and had some sweets for prizes!
But best of all ……..

Here we are enjoying a special visit from a certain someone!

In English we have adapted the Hurry Santa story. We have made our own new story maps and have been practising writing sentences.
We have decided we need to get better at using our phonic mats and remembering capital letters and full stops. We did look at our Target Bookmarks to remind us what we need to work on.
Here are our sentences.
Can you see what needs improving? We always want to get better!

In Maths we have been learning number names and words for numbers to twenty.
We have been counting carefully, reading and matching numerals to words.
Next week we are going to beusing manipulatives and drawing pictures to  represent numbers from 11 to 20.
