This week in Captain Cook’s Class ……….
We have really got into the Christmas spirit this week.
We all worked very hard at the beginning of the week to practise and then perform our show “ Sammy’s Magical Christmas Adventure”.We hope you all enjoyed watching us.
We have also been working hard this week to produce our products for our Christmas Enterprise challenge.
We had already chosen and designed our Christmas Tree Decorations, and it was now time to get busy making them.
We worked hard, choosing the correct materials, arranging, glueing, painting and assembling in order to make some fantastic decorations. It was great fun!
We are looking forward to making lots of money when we sell our products at the Crafty Christmas Fair on the afternoon of Tuesday 12th December. Please come along and buy our decorations!
Here we are making our Christmas Treee Decorations.
This week we have used our story maps to write our Hurry Santa stories.
We have tried hard to work on our targets; capital letters and full stops, finger spaces, adjectives and being able to check our writing to make aure it makes sense.
In maths we have been recapping what we can remeber from our Addition and Subtraction block of work.
We have been quizzing a lot this week to find out what we know and what we need to continue to work on.
At home we need to keep practising working out adds and takeaways and being able to draw pictures to show that we understand what we have worked out.
