2nd October 2017

We have all worked hard this week and Mrs Hudson is particularly proud of our writing on How to make a sandcastle.

In English we have been practising writing sentences correctly, using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
Mrs Hudson let us write on the table with our special whiteboard pens and was pleased with how much writing we did.

In Maths we have been making and comparing different amounts. We have learnt to use some maths symbols to show greater/ more than, less than and the same as.

We have learnt that the crocodile always opens its mouth to eat the larger number when comparing two numbers.

Here’s some of Harry’s maths work.

Here is a fantastic song we have enjoyed listening to this week to help us remember which way we need to draw the more than/less than symbols.

We have 7 handshakes this week!
This weeks  Superstars are James, Gaia and Harry.
Well done Gaia for being Explorer of the Week!  You have shown great enthusiasm in all of your work this week! Keep it up!

Lasts weeks attendance was 93.4%
